Things I do to instantly lift my mood
secret tip: Put on a physical smile it changes inner vibe as you do so.

On days, when end of a long day, it feels neutral or when stress stick around, here are few things that help me snap out of the zone and make me feel vibrant, happy and fills me with energy.

  1. Conscious breathing: (My quick fix)

Close your eyes, focus on breath. Mindful breathing for few seconds helps to calm your mind instanlty. Also proven to reduce stress, I learnt through Andrew Huberman's clip. Meanwhile those few seconds gives you chance to change your negative thoughts or feelings to postivie ones.

2.  Watch your fovourite movie or show:

Yes, we are caught up but once in a while it makes worth it to watch your favourite show or movie you have been stacking in your watchlist. Try something new you generally would not. It instantly swaps you in happy mood. I recently finished a rom com read to pull myself out of non fiction genre & hustle zone. Reading fiction story I explore this new wonderful,enriching experience which i found is 100x watching a movie. (the same novel is a movie too)

3.  Step outside:

Go for a walk, cycling, meet friends. Living my partial life at desk i knew this is necessary when my dog comes to rescue 3 years back now i have constant mindful walks. Also after work's over now & then I go out for long walk to have healthy drink. I would prefer if you can opt for regular sport, damn best.

4. Quick exercise:

I know i know, workout is not someting that sounds enjoying. Only if you can see your watch and do only 5 or 10 mins of running, jumping or push ups.. Nothing will beat the happy hormones you will get after.  I knew this earlier but never cared about it. Recently i have set up a morning routine where only 10 mins of running fills me with all day of excitment and feeling happy happy. I say because once a day is skip i feel the difference in my happy mood.

5. Clean your personal space-

yes, cleaning my work desk, book space and my bedroom helps me set in well done kinda mood. Give it a try. Also it make you ready for the next day routine.

6. Choose healthy:

Old me and in general people have junk food, binge eat, go out to enjoy food or stress buster kinda stuff. It does make you feel satisfying but when you go to bed, subconsiously it wont change you mood, you will still feel low. I have tried to keeping craving aside and chose healthy stuff, it does affect in feeling happy and light internally. (Also if you're reading please chose vegetrian :)

7.  Long showers:

Its something about it. Helps to relief stress and feel positive and begin again kinda vibe. GIve it a try.

8. Write down (declutter):

It is Effective. Often there are to do's in our mind related to 10 diff things or multiple thoughts about multiple people. Altough there is nothing to be worried, but it slows us down-all the thinking and remembering. Unsorted feelings?- write it down, next thing is it's off of your mind & you are happy. Multiple goals? - write it down,  break it into steps, next thing is you just have to follow it and its no more on your mind.
