Getting into human psychology

I've been fascinated by psychology for a while and I've been learning about human relations and outcomes. As I go along, I'll continue to share my insights I'm gaining from various sources.

I spent last week reading HOW TO WIN FRIENDS & INFLUENCE PEOPLE-  BY DALE CARNEGIE . It is unquestionably a timeless wisdom. When I finished the book, I realised most of the suggestions (listed in the end) are impossible to fake. If we don't like someone, we can't pretend to be interested in them or appeal to their better qualities. People are intuitive and can sense the truth.  We will interact with individuals on a 360-degree basis, and we want to be positive and influential.

I figured out how to genuinely be curious about other individuals- Its been over an year everyday I attend to a 30 min virtual spiritiual/meditation class. I realised the spiritual strategy and book's strategy are very similar. So, I combined the two, it made good sense.

Highlights from the mentioned book-

1. Giving people a fine reputation to live upto.
2. Appeal to nobler motives- honesty, fairness, doing good.
3. Be genuinly interested and curious.
4. Don't resist, agree.
5. Get to the topic where one has most interest.
6. If we want to be important to others, we must make them feel important.
7. If you want people to like you , get them talk about themselves.
8. Stop giving orders, start asking questions.

Highlights from the meditaion class-

Intention and thoughts- Two utmost powerful weapon. When applied purely and positively to any task or individual, the outcome is unavoidable. Five high vibe intentions and thoughts are suggested for everyday life-

1. welfare and good will for all and everyone
2. Have the intention of love and cooperation, no matter how awful.
3. Always aim to to give enthusiasm and encouragement
4. No matter how awful, treat the other person like family. (feeling of oneness)
5. Always be Soul Conciousness (foundation for mentioned above)

Applying the book strategies now seems simpler after incorporating the right intention and thoughts into personality.
